About EcoSteer
EcoSteer is an Irish online marketplace for buying and selling cars of every fuel type. We make it simple to find petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric cars from private sellers and verified dealers in every county, and we show the running emissions of each car so you can compare like for like.
The platform is operated by EcoSteer Mobility Ltd, a company registered in Ireland (CRO 811365) and based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath.
What we do
Every fuel type, one place
Petrol, diesel, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fully electric cars from private sellers and dealers across Ireland, with an Impact Score and estimated running emissions on each listing.
Free listings under €3,000
Private sellers list cars priced under €3,000 at no cost. Higher-priced private sales use simple fixed-price packages, with a 20% discount for electric and hybrid cars.
Verified dealer profiles
Member dealers get a public profile with live stock, reviews, opening hours and location, plus feed imports so their forecourt stays in sync.
Nationwide, county by county
Browse by county, by make and model, or by fuel type. Find EV charging stations and book an independent inspection before you buy.
Built for trust
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Sellers verify their phone number, and sold or expired cars are taken down automatically.
On the web and in your pocket
Use ecosteer.ie or the EcoSteer app for iOS and Android to search, save cars, message sellers and manage your own listings.
